3D Printers

Everyone’s needs are different and it’s important to choose a 3D printer that suits what your expecting to get out of it.

Heated Build Bed

When printing with a ABS filament specifically, the highly durable plastic must be printed directly onto a bed that is heated in the range of 80-100 degrees.  The reason for this is to reduce the warping effect which occurs when the plastic cools down.  The heated bed will help maintain the high temperature of the printed plastic model and allow it to cool down evenly overall, thus reducing any unwanted warping and in turn, product a higher accuracy print.  This doesn’t just apply to ABS however and is advised for most FFF printers if accuracy is key.

Accuracy is always important when printing
